I am a licensed professional clinical counselor and art therapist experienced in working with individual clients who are impacted by depression, anxiety, and trauma. I approach therapy with a trauma informed perspective meaning I tailor treatment and interventions based on the context of the individual’s trauma history, triggers, and specific needs. I take into account the impact of trauma on emotions, regulation, and behavior while also considering the effects of intergenerational trauma. I utilize diverse techniques such as person-centered therapy, art therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and psychoeducation. I aim to provide a healing and supportive relationship and environment which helps clients discover and develop self-worth and practical skills that assist in coping with everyday life.
